Reception April 15th, 7 — 9 PM
This two day exhibition features seven artist’s books completed as part of the Graduate Drawing & Painting Seminar in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Colorado Boulder. The seminar revolved around artist’s books and publishing as an artistic practice. We approached the notions of “book” and “publishing” in an open-ended manner by placing them in conversation with other artistic practices. The books presented in the exhibition explore aspects of remembering, preserving, imagining, transforming, translating, scrolling, and assembling.
