Beit/Home - Palestine: Existence and Resistance
Join us for the closing reception and poetry reading to celebrate work by ten Palestinian artists, four artists who have worked in Palestine, and drawings and paintings by Palestinian children from the West Bank and Gaza. The work displayed in Beit/Home is powerful and fearsome.  Donated by the artists, the pieces are deeply expressive of the Palestinian homeland and its century-long suffering.  The exhibition aspires to introduce the art of Palestine to our community, and to raise funds for several Art and Youth programs in the Askar Refugee Camp in the West Bank in Occupied Palestine.

The exhibition was curated by Jennifer Heath and Margaret Haydon on behalf of the Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project.
